There’s something in the water all my best girl friends are drinking and almost all of them are sporting bumps or birthing their second babies right about now. (Hey! I like water! Where’s my baby?!) Anyways…I’m pretty much in heaven with their good fortune and photographing my bestie’s new bundle of perfect perfectness was pretty much the best thing ever. Lainey is perfection and I loved every minute it took to lull her back to sleep (about every 10 minutes) over our (ahem) 7 hour play date. Don’t get me wrong…girlfriend was happy as a clam and didn’t make a peep…well…I take that back. She made lots of peeps but they were seriously adorable and they weren’t cries – she just didn’t want to miss a beat!

I am so abundantly fortunate to have friends that trust me with their priceless memories. (They’re even giving me second chances after my just-starting-out phase so they must really believe in me!) I love when I have the opportunity to photograph my friends and their families because that’s when I get to play and push myself creatively…no one but my friends can handle me hogging their infant and snapping away until there is literally no more available light in their home, but they are just so great. Even if they want to kick me out…they never tell me 😉

Anna and Josh (and my sweet, sweet Brady) – I love you all to the moon and back and and am so happy for your precious, giving family. I’m so proud to call you my friends and I love your baby girl almost as much as you do 😉
