Sweet Summer was another precious newborn I got to photograph back in the fall.  She was just perfect for her newborn session, content as can be wrapped up in all of my newborn wraps and sprawled out on my cozy blankets.  Summer was one of the first babies I photographed after deciding to switch my style up a bit (after the organic newborn workshop I attended) and I loved that her mama was game for anything I suggested…which was to capture Summer naturally and authentically…just as she was.  There was no need for uncomfortable poses and extra props…the things that don’t exist in real life.  What resulted were beautiful, timeless photographs of the beautiful baby girl they brought home and started loving from the moment they laid eyes on her.

Summer had the softest hair and silkiest skin ever.  She loved keeping her hands right up by her face but was also happy to be snug as a bug in a rug when I wrapped her tightly in my swaddles.  I could do this every day for the rest of my life.  I am so grateful for my sweet clients who give me that opportunity!
