I wonder if she’ll ever know to what lengths we would go to see her happy.

Halloween has never been my favorite fall holiday (or so I thought.)  I much prefer Thanksgiving and Christmas and I’ve never really pulled out all the stops in an effort to celebrate it…however this year, the anticipation and wonder on my little girl’s face as she talks about “spooky” ghosts and silly pumpkins and the way she flits so happily along in her “tinka-bale” costume…I can see this day easily creeping up there.

It also helps that today is her daddy’s big 3-0.  So we do have much to celebrate 🙂
