Doesn’t it always go something like this: you’re truckin’ along with life as normal, all is well (and busy), you plan family photos, you stress over the outfits (you shouldn’t, but you do!), you pick the location, the day is finally here…and you’re sick.  Or your baby’s sick.  Or it’s just an “off” day.  Trust me – I get it!  It’s happened to my own family.  My child was in the worst.mood.ever. for our family photos this year, after I had to reschedule them from last fall because I got pneumonia.  Such is life, right?

Well, this sweet thing arrived with mom and dad at their mini session “out of sorts” and come to find out a few days later she was actually fighting a case of strep 🙁  Poor baby!  BUT…she took my hand right off the bat and was so cooperative and cuddly and even offered up some big bright smiles…more than I can say I for myself when I’m sick!  She was a delight to be around – I can only imagine how fun and sweet she is at 100%!
