The busy season has officially begun and I am completely immersed in all things photography – shooting, editing, bookkeeping, bill paying, and preparing for all the fun changes to come for Heather Carraway Photography in 2014.  It’s definitely a whole new world than I have been accustomed to the past 5 years, but I feel so blessed to truly be doing something that I love and have the desire to continue learning more about.

In an effort to get all caught up, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorites from recent sessions.  I have had a lot of families recently and they have been SO FUN.  I love that I get the most laid-back clients that just like to play and interact and have a good time while I run in circles around them trying to take it all in and capture it.

This family is no different and I have to thank them SO MUCH for being one of the very first families to trust me with their time and their memories last year…I can’t believe how much our little ones (who were born within a month of each other) have grown, but it’s an awesome thing to see 🙂  The dynamics from a year ago are certainly different…from sitting casually and playfully in the leaves with their 8-month-old blue-eyed baby boy to chasing and swinging and hanging their wild blue-eyed toddler upside down.  And I do mean wild…in all the best ways.
