You all remember my beautiful friend, Allison, right?  Well, that baby bump did actually turn into a real live, out here in the world, BABY!  Miles was born on April 4, 2013 measuring 8 pounds and 20 inches long of perfect perfectness.

Apparently mother nature doesn’t want me to be able to visit my friends’ babies the day they are born because one of them came unexpectedly while I was half way to Florida for the Savvy Photographer Workshop.  Miles came just about right on time and I was only a 12-hour flight away in Italy.  Besides my baby girl and my own bed, he was certainly something to look forward to coming home to and oh-so worth the wait!

Miles, you’re killing me with your nuggetry cuteness and the way your face is split perfectly in half with features of both your mommy and daddy.  I could just kiss your little face right off…but then what would your mommy stare at all day long for 3 months?  Welcome to the world little man.  Forgive me for your Uncle Clay.  He sure is strange but you might just learn to love him, too.  Of course, you already love me.
