It may be nearly 3 weeks into 2013, but that’s no reason to not set any goals for the year!  Better late than never, or so I always have to tell my OCD sister when I’m late to wherever we’re going AGAIN.  This time, I have been so inspired by the 365 projects that are happening on my beloved ClickinMoms photography forum, that I have decided to give it a whirl.  If I have to take a photo of the Nilla Wafer crumbles on the end table for lack of inspiration anywhere else, at least it will document those buttery, sweet, crumb-filled days of my life.  Truly, I want to remember all of it.  Come along for the ride – or better yet – start your own!  I’m not too proud to say there will most definitely be some iPhone photography happening on this project, too!

on the rare occasion I can entertain my 10 month old in front of the TV long enough for me to put some detergent in the dishwasher, i love to watch her curious eyes from behind.  i love to imagine what she’s thinking as she twirls the edges of the blanket in-between her tiny fingers and pauses to look around the room before she settles back on the monkey in the yellow raincoat.  it won’t be long before she’ll grow into those sweet lashes and be covering them up with mascara and God-forbid glittery eyeliner (please, Lord, let white eyeliner never come back in style)…i snapped these just before i kneeled around her and planted soft kisses all over her silky eyelids.
