I have known this incredible family for almost a decade now.  Dad’s sister is my best friend that I met on my first day at UGA and man, do I love this family.  They are so full of life, despite a lot of trials in their lives since their oldest was diagnosed with leukemia before his 3rd birthday.  He is nearing the end of a 42-month long treatment and you would never guess what this amazing little boy has been through…he is as adventurous and wild as any other 5-year old boy you’ve ever met – and then some!  I loved spending the afternoon catching up with this growing family and finally meeting their newest addition.  They are such good parents – I hope I can be like them when I grow up 🙂
